Aren’t we all glad that Mr. Sun decided to come back and shine upon
us again?! Last week was a complete drag with all the rains and thunders
totally downing our moods. Thankfully it is all a thing of the past now! But
while we are basking under the sunshine here are a few Summer basics that we’d
like to share.
1. Sun-Proof-Face
Yes definitely do not go out of the house without sunscreen unless
you are aiming for wrinkles and saggy skin in the future then… you go girl! If
you don’t like the feeling of putting sunscreen then make sure you have a
moisturizer or foundation with a good SPF level, i.e SPF 15 and above.
2. Shades up!
It is our number 1 rule to always have sunglasses in your bag wherever
you go. I don’t think we need to stress how important it is to protect your
eyes especially during the summer time.
3. Bright lips
It is quite mandatory to wear bright colors during summer and you
can never go wrong with some hot pink lips! Not only is it fun and flirty but somehow
wearing a bright lip color always seems to brighten my day as well.
4. Pinched cheeks
If you are not ready to sport some hot pink lips then go for rosy
cheeks. Understandably you can get natural flushed cheeks by being under the
sun but if you don’t want to risk skin cancer then try some pink tones blush.
5. Eye potion
We’d say wear eye primer every time you put on eyeshadows but more
importantly during summer. Not only will you need a good eye primer to
counteract the sweat, heat and humidity but you would want it help your
eyeshadows stay longer and gives more vibrant colors.
6. Show them off!
Last but not least! After all isn’t summer all about showing some
skin. While we are all about showing skin during summer, remember don’t overdo
it. Our rule of thumb is, choose one part to show – Up or Down? Example, if your
top is a little bare then don’t go matching it with some skimpy skirt or shorts
and if you want to show your Cameron Diaz legs then make sure to have your
Upper body be a little more clothe. It is all about balance. Give them
something to be curious about. *wink*
We love summer and having Mr. Sun shining on us so we hope these
